THE TEJON BEAR

This bear was taken on the Tejon Ranch, Lebec, CA. It has a 21" skull with 14" from the back of the head to the end of the nose. It was previously referred to as, "The bear that couldn't be killed." One shot of the 350 grain .457 Alaskan broke both shoulders, killed the bear and ended up right under the hide on the far side. We recovered it. It was a perfect mushroom with what looked like 100% weight retention.... It was a fair fight & he could have easily won. Thanks to the rifle you built & its supreme accuracy, I won. I never doubted it for a moment.
